Watched Movie Into The Wild | Discovering Life

My Experience

It was 15th May 2021, when I was at my cousin’s house. I was sitting free from all of the distractions. Suddenly, I thought to watch this movie, which was INTO THE WILD. Firstly I got some reviews about this movie from a friend of mine. He suggested I should watch this movie. And yeah I can say that I truly invested my time today. The duration of this movie was about 2.5 hours. But completely worth my time.

What drives me crazy to share my experience with you about this movie is that It completely matches my vibe. Just because Christopher McCandless read books, loves to spend time alone, or somewhere he plays piano in the movie or he write down his life experiences in a diary. His only goal was to reach Alaska. It was his only purpose. But I will not recommend you to do the things which he did in the movie. 

The wonderful part of the whole journey is, It’s a real story and yeah Christopher McCandless existed in this world. You won’t believe that he was just about 23 years old when he died. 

Summary Of The Movie

So, let me start by describing the movie. In the movie, there is a student which was about to graduate from his college. When he graduates from his college, his parents start discussing his further studies. But as the name of the movie suggests, he doesn’t want anything materialistic in his life. He just wanted to explore life without having any fear of money, fame, and all of that stuff. 

Another big point to be noted in this movie is, Christopher’s parents have some relationship conflicts between them. So, he decided to leave all of this shit behind and just move out INTO THE WILD.

Now after that, he leaves out his home and donates all his savings to an Orphanage. He starts his journey with a Backpack and his car. When he reached a certain destination from his home, he leaves his car. His sister was the biggest support in his whole life. And yeah I learned something that every brother must know is “Your sister can be your best friend in some situations of life”.

Now finally he starts getting in touch with strangers and making them best friends on this journey. He uses those strangers to learn skills that will come out in handy to him in his journey. One thing I learned at this point is “Sometimes your family members can’t get closer to you that much, but yeah Strangers can”.

Christopher’s only goal was to reach Alaska and he achieved that on April 25, 1992. Also, he has taken some books on the journey including the guide for wild plants. The reason he died was because of the wild plants. On this journey, he also met a teenage girl. the teenage girl was only 16 years old. When they met, she started liking him but not Christopher.

In this whole journey, he meets a lot of strangers. They get emotionally attached to him as the movie reflects. But yeah I must suggest that every teenager must watch this movie and learn some life lessons from it.

Conclusion

At the end of the movie, Christopher writes in a book that “True Happiness is Something which is shared with others”. I think if you share your happiness with others, It makes you wealthier when it comes to relationships. And you feel happier after providing value to this world without seeking anything in return.
